Senior members of our team

  • Dr. Charlie Howard

    FOUNDER & CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Charlie is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Mum of two little girls, organisational consultant, social entrepreneur, strategic advisor and keynote speaker. She has extensive experience in the NHS, private and community sectors and founded the nationally acclaimed MAC-UK charity in 2008. Charlie is proud to be an Ashoka Fellow, the largest network of social entrepreneurs worldwide.

People in the public eye have phenomenal opportunities to better their lives and the lives of those around them. Charlie deemed it a travesty if poor mental health and outdated systems got in the way. This is how Xception came to be and just like many in the public eye, it does much differently to what has gone before.
